The future 😔

 Hiii this is Mike mood plz / SystemDeKilla...

I have good and bad news about Mike Can't Communicate but mostly bad news sadly.

I'm gonna start with the good news: the planning is finished and has been since winter holidays 2025 :)))) Yayaya, hopefully if I have enough time I'll get it OFFICIALLY WRITTEN! However...we'll get to the unfortunate news: I no longer have enough time to write MCC (Mike Can't Communicate). Exams are now coming and revision is my current top priority. I'm in 11th grade now and will turn 17 years old in May. Due to high school, I'd rather focus on my education than writing the story. This may sound selfish, and I'm very very sorry for not delivering enough, but I hope you understand as I have no choice 🥺

Additionally and...even worse news, I'm currently suffering from creative burnout. It's been this way since September 2024, but now it's gotten even worse by 2025. I've been beating myself up for not finishing MCC and saying "It's unacceptable" to myself, knowing that it's been one year since I started writing it and I've started all over from scratch after January 2025. I'm very dissatisfied with myself, I take full  responsibility for everything going on the way it did. I shouldn't have announced a release date and I fully regret any wrong decisions I've made...if there was one thing I'd say to my early 2024 self, I'd tell her to take her time and not rush to a proper release date...you don't know what's to come in the future...I'm very sorry 💔

This is related to my burnout and I'll say it: It's greatly hurt me because art is my hobby, really. I'm very bummed out and even got bored of the characters and the story at one point, but then I remembered to be optimistic and maybe someday I'll get enough time and motivation to release it.

Sorry for the long unactivity, but I have no choice... 💔 I try to cope with negative thoughts and whatever life throws at me (like exams, burnout...), thankfully I've managed to live with that...I hope my burnout ends at the nearest time.

July Update

 Hi, it's SystemDeKilla.

Sorry for not finishing my trilogy on July 18th, I regret giving away the promise. Remember that "Mike Can't Communicate" is just a hobby project and I regret giving a promised date because I didn't have much free time, so I won't provide a date but I think it'll be in late September.

Sorry, guys. I didn't have time for writing because of education (high school :/) since it was a looooong school year and I really needed a break. Hopefully I can get everything done soon.

MCC CAST IN LOW BUDGET (some news too)

I made this for some weird reason. Basically, the main 11 (in Mike Can't Communicate trilogy) drawn in low budget.

all of them have the same skin color because they're meant to be stickmen. I do have the proper version (colored and lineart, only missing bg) but I need the background before I can post it.

Change of Plans:

I realized that a small change came in my way, and I felt like I should say it: MCC trilogy will be two editions: the first one is digital and the second is physical. However, I'm an amateur artist and maybe there WON'T be a printed edition? Because physical copies might cost money, and I want these characters to be used ONLY in non-profit media. (and i highly doubt people will read three books written by a sixteen year old girl, lol) Good news that exams are over, back to work :) !

I'm such an attention-whore. I know I'm supposed to be in a break but I'm chronically online 😂

Basically, I made this when I was bored. MS paint sucks but I managed to do this!! (i used the copypaste tool for a base I made, which is inspired by an unused DDLC sprite for Natsuki)

These 18 characters are NOT in MCC. I made them in 2021 and I wanted to use them in November for a trilogy (pre-dating MCC), then I realized my true motives behind writing it (the trilogy is called Daniel's Knife) were hatred and spite (for reasons I don't wanna talk about...it's personal). However, I'm still attached to these characters, even nearly 3 years later! I'm able to separate them from Daniel's Knife. Here are both drawings!

These are the NEW redesigned fellas for 2024. They have a lot going on in the new version! I'm happy :-) I mentioned these characters in my old blog...which is private...

As for MCC, I'm still making progress. I'm a hobbyist, remember? The thing is, I have ALL ideas for ALL THREE BOOKS planned, yet writing them is...SO HARD!!! I'm not even done with THE FIRST!

Hopefully, I can get the spark back. So far, I'm still in the first book. Again, I have the ideas but it's difficult! Writing is hard!

 Sorry guys, but tomorrow will mark the end of my winter holidays. I will no longer be as active here.

I'm sorry, but it was fun! Goodbye...see ya in March. 2 weeks from now. But at the same time I need to focus on MCC and other stuff.
